Service Description

Welcome to the Reading Block, where young minds bloom, stories sparkle, and readers transform from chop-readers into confident, expressive butter-readers! __________________________________ We believe reading should feel exciting, comfortable, and full of heart. That’s why our sessions aren’t just about words on a page—they’re about bringing stories to life. Bland sentences become sizzling retellings, filled with laughter, creativity, and imagination. __________________________________ Each week, students immerse themselves in a thoughtfully chosen story, then conversation takes over. They share thoughts, feelings, and ideas with their peers, turning reading into a social and emotional experience. Laughing is encouraged, because reading is meant to be joyful. And because the best stories stick with us, each session ends with a hands-on project, helping students re-tell the story in a way that feels personal—whether it’s through art, building, or storytelling. The goal is simple: make the story unforgettable and give every child the confidence to share it with a friend. Every week, students receive homework to prepare for the next adventure, ensuring they show up ready, engaged, and excited for what’s to come. At the heart of it all, Reading Block is about creating experiences, not just reading words. We turn pages into stepping stones for growth, helping students find their rhythm, confidence, and love for books—one story at a time
